Hi everyone had a lovely week last week camping in Norfolk,  or though it got very windy on the last few day's (force 8 gale).  There were tent's abandoned and also stuffed in bin's, we felt very sorry for these people who's holiday's were ruined.

Our Khyam managed to resist all the wind, but was very difficult to collapse in the wind, there was three of us but the wind was that strong we could not get to the fourth leg, my husband had to make a dash for it.  Luckily we managed to get it down in one piece, these tent's are tricky to get down in high wind's, but they are rock solid when pitched.

i am now thinking of the kyham xxl for our next tent as our avignon suffered in high winds on our last holiday.

it's good to hear that they are solid in wind. How long does it take you pitch your khyam?

OOh yes...we were in Cromer too all of last week (Manor farm at East Runton) . We were on an exposed spot too and it was so noisy..you could hear the wind coming up from the sea at night. I was a bit scaredy pants to be honest....and didn't sleep much on Friday night. The people in the neighbouring tent went home for a few nights ...so i was worrying about their tent too!

My Monty stood up to it all though (i was really proud of him )...and at least i got  to know that he's waterproof!
