I might be wrong, but does the Oasis only have curtain dividers (not zipped) between the bedrooms? If so, it does not give you much privacy.

I seem to remember it, when I last looked at one - it was the main thing I spotted that the Aspen had, that it did not.

As for a Montana 12, the bedroom set up would give you more privacy with the kids - put them on one side and you on the other.

Montana also goes up outer-first, which is always handy in rain - especially as I doubt the Oasis (or an Aspen) is lightening quick to put up.

In the end both (inc. Aspens) darn nice tents - you can't go too wrong with any of them.

been looking at the new sunncamp range and for 6 people i`d go for the vario range, depending on the style of tent you want.

Being biased, I would go for the Montana 12. We have 3 kids and it is quick and easy to put up (and doesn't matter if it's tipping down with rain because it's all-in-one), large rooms and walls are nice and steep.

hi donna another issue that may be of interest to you is the pack weight ...the aspen is approx 10kg heavier than the oasis as it has steel poles compared to the aluminium ones on the oasis ....stronger poles mean heavier pack weight but both excellent tents ..........eeny meeny miny moe

If you're looking at the vario, I think the 900 would be more suitable and you'd have more room

Hi all.

Bought a sunncamp oasis 700 this summer and apart from a few problems with putting the fly sheet on I have to say its and excellent tent. plenty of space inside. Yes, the internal walls are only held in place by toggles. Apart from that its a very good tent.
