My kids are only 7 and 5 and we always take colouring books, drawing pads, puzzle books, pencils, a football, frisbee and some reading books.  Hopefully the kids will make some friends on the site and then they don't need anything at all, just their imagination!

Make sure to take a variety of clothes, mine live in their shorts and t shirts, a fleece and of course wellies and a waterproof!!!  You can never be certain what the weather is going to do.  I usually keep some spare dry clothes in the car just in case!

If you forget something you can always go and buy it!

Have fun though and don't forget the beer / wine and a bottle opener / corkscrew! .... Quinnys

Re the kids, mine are 5 & 4 years, we take plenty of story books for bedtime, colouring and drawing materials for the times we want them to calm down/stay in one place and a friend suggested play doh works well for her.

On our last trip I bought a set of boules, we played a few games outside the tent and on the beach.  I also bought a stamp rocket which gave the kids a few hours of fun.

I have to say however, once the children make friends they're off and entertaining themselves.
