Some do, some dont....there appears to be different charging policies all the time.
I must admit I prefer the sites that charge per pitch and leave the rest to you, but some do charge for extras such as pup tents, gazeboes etc. My experience the charge has only been £1 per night at certain places.
The last place I went, Bossiney Farm Cornwall, I just asked when I got there if they objected to me putting in up and if there was an extra charge...the puzzled answer was "why do I need to charge you more", thats the reply I liike to hear.
