the bathtub works pretty well, we didn't have any problems ourselves. you can get a indiana canopy to fit with a little bit of modifying the straps as far as i'm aware.

I think you would be better with the nebraska...having viewed both...the quality of the nebraska seemed more...substantial.

Think there have been issues with how the pods on the 900 are held in place too- elastic and velcro...great in normal weather...but we all know that you can never tell

We had the Nebraska XL and had to return it after first use as it leaked on all of the seams. There have been alot of problems with the Nebraska's leaking as you will see from this forum.

There is no doubt it is a great design, layout and light inside and would be spot on if the quality could be guaranteed. If you go for this, I hope that you get a goodun' - as some have been lucky enough to have.

Happy camping with your tent when you chose it!!!

Thanks

Do you think you would be able to store a kayak in the living area at night.

Hi,

I can vouch for the vario 900 with the annex on in torrential rainstorms. It withstood the wind and heavy downpours on two trips so far this year, but took the annex off last week and it leaked like a sieve through the side doors. We're hoping seam sealant has done the trick, or else we're going to return the tent. The space is fantastic and apart from the leaks the vario 900 is great. Having said that, with a kayak you'll be fine without the annex lol. Seriously though, the velcro and elastic does hold in place, its just that there is a problem with the side doors, which is a pain as we chose it because it was so versatile.

We have the 900 aswell and we are very pleased with it. When we looked at both we found we had more space in the 900 than with the outwells. As for the annex's being held on by just velcro and elastic that isnt quite true as they have loads of guy ropes just like any other tent or canopy. We have had bad weather when we used ours for the last  2 weeks and its been fine.

Hope this helps
