Thanks for pictures - looks like a good improvement on the Mercury 9 - love the extra height and the windows.

Think it depends on what site you go on. We are looking to get the Antares 17 but I can't find anywhere with one on show or anyone with any pictures. Let me know how you get on. We go to Pentewan Sands in Cornwall and the pitches are huge - we easily get a 18ft boat, a Mercury 9 a day tent and two cars on one pitch.

here,s a pic and spec of the 17 .it looks a great tent but the size and more camp sites stopping big tents in mid and peak season is holding me back.

Hi, seen lots of pictures of the outside and floorplans, etc but do like to see the tent pitched before buying, or some pictures of the outside.  My search is proving fruitless though. We intend to keep our Mercury 9 for shorter breaks but to get a large tent for when we go to Cornwall for a month in the summer. Also still to use the Day Tent alongside the Mercury or Antares. Lots of people have commented on big tents - must say not had a problem up to yet, we always tell the site the size of our tent to make sure - we used to have a massive frame tent for many years and never had problems with sites with this either - maybe we've just been lucky.
