Hi all,
is there a particular month that the main manufacturers announce their 2007 range, or do they all announce on separate and random dates ?
Don't know whether to wait incase of any extra bells and whistles on next years model, or to go with a 2006 model - decisions, decisions....

I'm not sure - but we have considered going to the International Caravan & Motorhome show at the NEC in Birmingham in October (17th - 22nd). There's another one in London in November. Alot of shows of this nature are used to display new seasons stuff before being available - so it may be worth a visit. Have never been before so perhaps someone else on here may be able to tell?

retailers are getting a small look in now, and i have seen the vango 2007,

the genral public will be aware around christmas - late january time and to buy from febuary march onwards. depending on tent.

i was told by a retailer the other day that a lot of next years tents are being done in new colours like blacks and browns ??

Hi Sheila

In reply to your post, the Caravan and Motorhome show is a good day out but don't go expecting to see many tents. We were there last year and there were only about 5 tents! The Ordnance Survey Outdoor show at the NEC in March is much better for tents but they still dont have a huge range. Both are good days out though if you dont live too far away.

Hmmm, black and brown sounds fine for shoes but a bit gloomy for tents - might prefer a nice 2006 colour anyway then. Charlie wants us to get the blue ones (Outwell Indiana 6) !

hi - bit of a side track here.

but did anyone see the website which held the the green tent competition. it was fab. the links are still there thru google but i can no longer access the site. this was offering eco friendly tent designs of the future - it was really inspiring. they had unusual forms and use of materials. it's given me plenty of ideas for designing my own.

i would love to develop a prototype !

If 2007 is like 2006, it will not be until early next year for he new models to be shown. There seemed to be some leaking of infomraiton for a few brands, but not much.
