no it wasnt a display model, brand new ,still boxed up and they said they still had quite a few left , must also say we already have a tent but it can take a while to put up, thats why we bought another one, we put it up when we got it home , it was sooo easy , only took us about 20 mins from start to finish , it has steel poles which make it really sturdy and comes in a suitecase type bag with 3 sections so its easy to put away too, the one and only down side is the bag is heavy to carry cos of the steel poles,
