Hi all,

Sorry not been on here for a while been very busy with work and weekends away now i have the bug!

how do i clean the inner of my tent, it is a pitch outer tent so the inner has no poles so i cant prop it up to get the dirt off it.

Was camping in snowdon when it chucked it down and mud has splashed on the inside

Any suggestions

You can wash it in the bath if it's badly marked. No worries about the waterproofing if it's an inner tent.

Do you think I can do that with the bedroom inners from my outwell colorado 8 - one child managed to sleepwalk and wee everywhere in one of the bedroom and the same child also had a nosebleed and got blood on the mesh - I think I will have to hang it on the line and hose it down but would rather bung it in the machine? Or will that totally knacker it?

Cool wash, very little powder and no softner - works a treat - i've done it.

I have washed the inner tents in the bath, because they wouldn't fit in my machine easily. I think you probably need to put it in the big machines at the laundrette, but on a gentle cool wash with a short spin.

A paddling pool in the garden is another option for washing it.

Use non-bio powder, btw. There`s something in the enzyme stuff (the enzymes, perchance???) that doesn`t agree with the waterproofing on the flysheet, if the inners and outer comes in contact.

is it ok to do that with the inner if it has the ground sheet attached?
