Hiya - my first posting here :)

We are the proud owners of a Wynnster Mercury 9 (there's three of us - me, my wife and our 7 month old son). It's a superb tent that has attracted much comment from fellow campers (someone called it a bungalow yesterday whilst we were taking it down). We have a few thoughts about it though that I'd like to bounce off people here...

Canopies... We've seen several makes of canopy that would be good for putting over the door (I think we use what most people would label the back door as the main door, due to the mesh and also windbreak fitments). Does anyone know of a canopy that would fit our tent? The main reason for wanting one is to create a seperate area to cook in for when little one starts crawling around the place. We've thought of putting a small windbreak over near the porch area where we set up the cooker...we're open to suggestions. There are canopies that Outwell make for their tents...would they fit? Help!

If there is one niggle I have about the tent is that only one windbreak is included which hooks up to the 'back' door. I've written to Wynnster and they've said it's not available as a spare part. It's a very useful piece of kit as it does keep the rain out whilst allowing the door to be open. Again, thoughts anyone?

All in all though, we really love our tent - it's excellent and the size makes it easy for friends to come away with us. Pitching time is pretty quick now we've got the hang of it, though like all large tents, if there's a gale blowing up it adds to the fun somewhat...

That's all for now - look forward to hearing what people have to say about this.

Very nice looking tent - glad you like it.

I dont know anything about canopies as we dont camp in the rain We do have a very nice wind break which is an outdoor revolution vision. It is an awesome windbreak.

Just got back from a week in mine with 2 boys. I didn't use the windbreak, as havn't found it particularly useful in the past.

Not seen any sort of canopy to go with it, but after some rainy days last week may well consider taking a gazebo away in furure years.  Hope that's some help.
