Lol we do that too now ,I was worried it seemed really odd and unromantic ,but we both have everything we need/want so that just leaves the practicle stiff  LIKE CAMPING GEAR!!

A gas fridge is high on the list for Father Christmas.

We have promised ourselves an anniversary meal this year.  Last year was out, because Richard's hand was in plaster, and he needed his food cut up like a baby.  This year he will be off on our anniversary as he has a medical regarding his hand, so we will go out for lunch.

We bought an EHU - only used it once! The campsite where we have our main two week holiday has no tent EHU (Its a Caravan Club Site!). and I don't miss it!

I have 2 power packs/jump starts from Argos.  I use them charge mobiles and blow up the air beds (saves having to try and blow an air bed up in the car - or get the car in the tent when its raining!) - also saves the car battery going flat - been there done it and got stuck!  Also comes in handy when others get stuck - used mainy times on a site jump starting fellow campers cars!.  Usually take both only on weekend trips when the weather isn't guaranteed its enough to run the TV in the evenings only.
