Hi all,

My first choice tent for 2007 is a new Vango Vista 800 DLX. Good quality, right price tunnel tent, Vis-a-Vis style and good aftersales have been my main considerations. But I would also like to have a removable bath tub or riser ground sheet.

Can someone please confirm thet the bath tub inner ground sheet attaches to all of the fly sheet base. It's description by Vango: "provides total climate protection" and I can only see this happening if it covers the whole footprint of the flysheet edge to edge.

My second choice is a Sunncamp Haven 800 which has a SIG, same design appart for the TBS, the price is a lot greater though.

Many thanks in advance for removing the blue face,

It would appear, from looking at the pictures that it does go all the way under one of the sleeping areas and tucks under the other.

Outdoor Focus have it on their website but they are sold out

I like the Vango Vista - except for those daft door and window canopies! They are similar to those on the Vail and, judging by the one we saw on display, fill with water rather than shed it.

hi we have just bought the 2005 vista 600 dlx we have put the tent up to check it and our ground sheet completely covers the whole area of the tent, the guy who sold this to us said the reason for this is because you can add and remove bedrooms when you need them i paid £199 from outdoor world as its the older model with the porch

Thanks to all who replied

I was wondering if the 2005 model has the riser groundsheet, covers 10cm of the bottom of the flysheet, as with the 2006 model.

It is reported to keep beasties and draughts out.

Thanks,

Geordie

As far as I know the riser groundsheet only appeared for the 2006 range of Vango tents.
