I'm intrigued with the sound of this little frame tent Can you post a piccy of it in your gallery Steve?
I will have to see if I can find one. I will try and describe it in case not.
The poles are all elasticated. Centrally at the top is a metal circle into which 6 poles fit. 4 of those poles then connect to metal fitments at each corner of the tent. The other two go into nylon sleeves at the top of the front and rear of the tent. The outer skin of the tent is then clipped onto the poles so that it hangs within them. Obviously the tent inner is fitted within the outer. Tent is then pegged down as normal. The tent is a dome shape. Apparently it was designed for rough weather. The frame and tent are designed to allow for strong winds so as not to suffer the effects that normal tents would suffer from. ie get blown over
Daughter and I spent a really wet and windy few days just outside of Matlock couple of months ago and the tent really showed its worth then.
I will now search for any photos that I may have.
Given that nobody has still given me any info as to what has happened to McKinlay?
------------- Relax. You can do too much too soon.
