I don't know what Wildie is talking about. There are not tensioner straps on the bottom of the fly / under the SIG on a Montana 6. The SIG itself takes all the tension. Perhaps he / she could explain.
going to let you lot work it out simple as that, cos on our monty we have tensioners on one side for the poles and there is another set for the fly its self.
Whatever Outwell come up with if there is tensioners on the fly and poles why havn't they told you to fiddle with them in the instructions. If they tell you there's nothing wrong with your tent you can at least tell them they need to make the instructions more user friendly and get someone to at least put the tent up and write them as they go!
Sorry peeps as good as all dome tents and tunnel tents are I have found the solution Buy a frame tent very quick to put together no hassle. Our frame tent takes less than 30 mins to erect including pegging out and guy ropes, a lot less bother and no fighting between me and OH and warmer. Just my opinion though
Well after a longish wait, WOC have finally got around to putting my tent up, and the anwering machine message was "we can also see the problem with the tent"
I'm so relieved I was expecting them to say we were muppets!!!
Anyway next dilema, I have been offered a replacement of my choice, but do I go for the Monty 2007, or is there anything else I could consider, I want something about the same size, definately no bigger though.
Sorry Wildie, but we had no tensioners along the bottom of the fly on our Monty 12, we only had pole tensioners. We only had a prob with the porch poles on ours.
