You just end up with loads of tents, that's all. First out, you dont have kids so a small one will do, you then have small kids but you are skint so you get the cheapest one you can all cram in with the nappies and Teddy. The sprogs get bigger you get a family dome, they get still bigger so you get a tent each for them, so they can camp with you, but not with you. They decide to go to Glasto/Reading fests taking the oldest tents you dare let them have. You decide you want a smaller more stylish tent, (we've just bought a Cabanon Guadeloupe) or a more specialist one for hard core "Ray Mears" expeditions that you will just end up dreaming about at the pub/ BnB/Marriot hotel, cos the wife is not doing the camping thing any more, But they are still all up in the loft with the the calor gas stove, just in case, just in case.........(I've now lost count of the tents).
