Well if you have look at my previous 2 posts you will know wot it is all about but I won’t tell you cos this post will go on forever  but the bottom line is I got a atrec 9 tent it was faulty sent it back & got a Biarritz 9 Tent went well after finally gettin the tent we set of on saturday to go camping for my daughters birthday  we got there 120 miles away from home unpacked got tent out AND GUESS WHAT ??

POLES WERE FILTHY GRASS MUD ALL OVER

NO INSTRUCTIONS WHATSOEVER

no-one on the site could help us so we came home ..

called wilddays today carried on bigtime with them nothing they can do whatsoever till they get the tent back .. so I was not best pleased so I asked them to mail me over the Pitching Instructions for the tent as im goin camping on Thursday hopefully

they sent me over the below Pitching Instructions can you all just read them for me and make sure there all right if possible this really would help me & my family ENORMOUSLY..also if there is anything else i should know ?

Biarritz 9

Inner Tent

1.   Take out the poles and assemble them.  Three long poles for the dome, 6 bedroom poles, 2 angles porch poles and 6 short poles for the tent ventilation system.

2.   Open out the inner and put in required direction, and insert the three longest poles through the pole sleeves ensuring that all cross the middle.

3.   Insert the shorter poles through the pole sleeve across the end of the bedroom.

4.   Locate the pole ends on one side of the dome area onto the pin system.

5.   Push ends into an arch from opposite sides and locate pole into the pins.

6.   Locate the shorter bedroom poles into the pins and push into an arch one at a time from opposite sides.

7.   Raise up the inner tent and peg through the metal rings and the bases ensuring the groundsheet is flat and free of creases.

Flysheet

1.   Open the flysheet and position it is that the entrance corresponds with the inner doorway.

2.   Unroll the inner tent and peg it out ensuring there is no creasing on the groundsheet.

3.   Insert the two angled poles into the pole porch sleeves on the outside of the flysheet, noting that the coloured poles match the corresponding coded pole sleeves.

4.   Pull the flysheet over the inner tent and position the seams to correspond with the poles on the inner tent.

5.   Fabric ties are located on the inside of the flysheet.  Tie these to the poles.

6.   Peg out the porch area using the anchor straps, and repeat for the anchor straps at the corner of the bedrooms.

7.   Peg out the remaining shock chorded pegging points around the base of the flysheet.

8.   Attach and peg out all guy lines for additional stability.

9.   The detachable porch groundsheet can be fitted using the elasticised hooks and pegging eyelets.

10. Insert the short poles into the sleeves to form the inner tent ventilation feature

Use the canopy poles only in good weather and never leave the canopy unattended.

With regard to the inner tent instructions, I would add "one person should go inside and lift the inner up prior to inserting the poles in to the pins".

Take a look here: Link

It's the Vango website. Their Diablo 900 is similar to your tent. If you click on tents, you'll see pitching instructions on the left hand side. Download and print the Diablo 900 instructions.

Agree with stackridge. We have the Biarritz 600 and the instructions were as good as useless. As the designs are so similar to the Diablo I used their instructions from th e Vango site. The main difference is the extra pole in each bedroom in the Biarritz that the Diablo doesn't have. Good luck. Sorry your holiday was ruined

It appears that all biarritz poles don't get cleaned from the maufacturing proccess. I cleaned mine with some brush cleaner.

Agree with stackridge, you need someone inside to hold up dome whilst your putting poles into pins.

My instructions were rolled up in the porch ground sheet but I didn't really need them.

I tend to put ALL the poles in, erect dome and straight onto the bedroom pods as give far stability to the whole structure

Beware on the vent poles, they are too long ! you might need to shave about 1mm of each end.

And make sure all the entrances are zipped up before you erect dome.

Moral of the tale? Have a trial run of ANY new tent before you go on your holiday. It won`t be the first time a new tent had a pole or something missing, and it helps enormously the first time you put a tent up not to be rushed, stressed or tired from a journey.

Yes it does , so no need for ground sheet

They are the porch guy ropes. I used the pegs for the flysheet bedroom corners with the adjustable straps

PICTURE 2 --- this pole is on the fly sheet one the entrance sholud it be on the outside like that ???

Yeap

Yes it does, but these are the tricky little blighters i takled about in an earlyer reply. The hook attaches to a flysheet ring which is then pegged down via a snmall guy line

http://img.photoamp.com/i/mSDJ8UNgYB.JPG

PICTURE 4 --- these poles are in one of the corners should they be sticking out like that and what is the rubber ring for ????

Thats ok but will better coverd once you peg that tension strap down.

looks fine. & no to the 2nd question

looks to me like you need to re-position the dome corners a bit to tighten the sig

Looking at that inner, you need to re-aadjust the bedroom ends a bit to tighten the inner.

PS See my galley for my pictures of a Biarritz 9
