Does anyone have one of these tents? Don't know much or anything actually about the "Campus" brand. Is it any good? I'm keen on buying this for next season as it's on sale and seems nice a spacious. I would only need it for 2 Adults, 2 kids - but would use one of the side bedroom pods for extra living space or clothes etc.
A very popular tent, simple to pitch and made from 4 oz polyester, the Campus Oregon DLX tent provides sleeping for upto 8 people. The living space is very generous and can be used for extra storage or overflow sleeping area.
Campus are made by Khyam who have an excellent reputation. We dont have that model but we are really pleased with our Khyam Yale for just the 2 of us. We started our camping with a Campus and would still be using it if our cat hadnt shredded the fly sheet when we were drying it in the garden. It never leaked and the build quality was excellent. The Oregon looks a good size for a family of 4 so if its a good price and it suits you then I would go for it.
Hi, Your post heading states 'Vango Oregon' yet your pic is of the Campus Oregon. If it is the Campus you are actually interested in, it might be worth editing your post to change the heading?
Best of luck, I'm sure info will soon come flooding in.
Sorry about the error in the initial Subject title. As pointed out by Liddenham I had put there "Vango Oregon" instead of "Campus" - you see I'm going tent mad lol and have had "Vango" on my mind for months as I initially wanted the Vango Aspen 700DLX. But just changed me mind!
Sorry Valk Scot - like I said I'v had "Vango" on the brain for months as I had my heart set on the Aspen 700DLX. So automatically I started typing Vango - silly me.
sorry me dear

I guess this must be a european import, as they are still branded "campus" and not Kyham in some european counteries.
Not a bad thing - as when they were previously Campus they had a good reputation - just pointing it out. Might make getting some spares a little dificult, but thats just a guess.
£200 seems to be an OK price for what you are getting. It is about the same as the likes of a Lichfield Arapaho 9DLX, Royal Biarritz 9 and even an end of season bargain Diablo 900 (all which have SIG).

We started with a campus oregon 4 years ago when we started camping.........its exactly the same as the 1 you have posted about but without the extra side bedrooms..just a simple tunnel...........we were very pleased with it.......good quality.........we did have a leak at 1 point on a seam around a window but seam sealant sorted that out.............we still use it occasionally now and its still going strong............we just prefer the pitch all in ones with sig nowadays like the outwell montanas coz then you dont have to fiddle attaching groundsheets and bedrooms afterwards.
We paid £270 for it 4 years ago and that was a basic not deluxe, so I'd say £200 is a good price.
I have not been able to find any internal pics of this tent yet. Also no pitching instructions. The other tent I'm very interested in is a "Sunncamp Typhoon 1000". I have managed to see and read through the full pitching instructions on this tent on the Sunncamp website - which was a big help. This tent looks pretty straight forward to put up.
Price wise - the Campus looks good. It looks like a nice tent. But the big question now is - Is it a mission to erect? I wonder...........

the 'normal' campus was dead easy......thread roof poles in......peg at the back then go down attaching leg poles and putting in pins as you go...............by the looks of it you will only have 2 more poles to contend with then on each additional bedroom......so in theory it should be fine!
