I have just noticed the new 2007 Cabanon Stratos XL trailer tent has a dedicated kitchen area:
New for 2007
Modèle vendu exclusivement avec bloc cuisine
Standard features include : - Two large and comfortable bedrooms, and have ventilated windows and outside flaps - It is supplied with cabin roof lining and curtains and reovable mattress and seat covers. A jockey wheel and spare wheel and carrier are also included as standard.
Awning Features include : - Dimensions : 3,5 m (deepth) x 5 m
I wonder if the 2007 Biscaya tents will also have this kitchen area?
Hmmmm, the website shows no kitchen extension but the canvas seems to have been changed, from polyester to cotton, and only the 370 is shown (but page pics are not loading properly so perhaps this is more computer error than range amendment?).
On the Cabanon website the 400 (same dimensions as Stratos) has this design, but not the 500 (yet?). It would probably make the 500 a bit too wide if it needed a guide rope to the side. the 400 is still polycotton (not that I can tell any difference between the fabric on our Biscaya and friend's Aruba).
It's probably just me, but this seems a bit unnecessary for the Biscaya - it doesn't improve the symmetrical looks and we prefer to cook outside under the canopy anyway. I also like the fact that the Biscaya is only tensioned from 3 straps on the frontt, which keeps the width down. It's probably brilliant for Stratos owners who want the Cabanon kitchen unit.

This new Stratos XL is 500 wide, the same width as the Biscaya 500.
Cabanon have changed their website since I looked, yesterday, and as you rightly say they now show the 440 with the kitchen extension. I wonder if they will change all the Biscaya range, in time?
How odd, when I looked yesterday the Biscaya canvas for the 2007 range was quoted as being cotton, yet now it is stated as being (unchanged) polyester!
Nope, just found that the 370 is still being quoted as cotton canvas:
'New material for 2007 : canvas in cotton - Large, fully enclosed, living space - Roll-away front panel - Fixed front sun canopy'
I wonder if their website is still being updated, or if we shall in fact see these variations in the 2007 Biscaya (440 with kitchen extension but others not, 370 available in a choice of the current coated polyester, lightweight polyester or cotton canvas)?

It's probably just me, but this
Forgive me for pointing this out but, the 400 (nor any other Biscaya) has never been polycotton, it is heavyweight and breathable polyester. Which makes me wonder why they are apparently changing to cotton canvas?
