Keep your dogs warm in one of these!

Ideal for those chilly nights when camping!

I seem to remember a number of you wanting ideas on how to keep your canine mates warm during the colder camping nights.

I came across this site as I was looking for a garment of some kind that my elderly lab would not wriggle out of during the night!

Although they seem a little pricey some of the designs (the jumper and dog suit!)

look like they will stay put and if you have an elderly dog like mine the big worry is keeping them cosy.

Do not think my OH will be impressed by our Chocolate Lab parading around the campsite next season in his jimjams but who cares!

Watch out for the dog in the dog suit next year,say Hello you will know its me!

I have put one of my fleeces on the dog to keep him warm but he always seems to escape by morning!

Thought one of these may just stay on him!

Don't think the fur trimmed option wil be to his liking,he is from Yorkshire after all!

(do they do a matching flat cap I wonder?!!!)

I think these are a brilliant idea - we wondered if our boxer was warm enough the last time we went camping so we just gave him loads of bedding to snuggle in to.  You never know I might even get a matching fleece!!!  (Yeah, like my OH would go for that.  Any street cred would go straight out the window!)

Go on get him a dog suit! Just ordered our lab one in red!

Thought about the matching fleece,will have to let the OH get over the shock of his labrador wearing the suit first before I hit him with me in a matching fleece!

He has only just come to terms with the fact that the dog wears a bandana when we take him to the pub!

Not bought any yet but seriously I think they look good and might stop dogs getting "foot sore" on long walks on rough terrain.(Just a thought!)

I have 2 whippets and know they hate the cold.!!

 when we went camping in late august/ sept  they had their own beds with duvets  and didnt move for the night !!

 mind you they sleep like this at home at night  too !!!

I cut up and old duvet to the size of their bed , made a cover and they sleep under them or on top if they get hot !!!
