Hi Syman & welcome to the forum

The ring & pin system is a method of fixing the poles, ie. the end of each pole has a pin which you have to put into a metal ring which is fixed to webbing at the base of the flysheet - it can be a bit of a pig if the webbing isn't adjustable.

No-see-um mesh is a wonderful invention  It's a very fine mesh which allows you to see through it clearly, but it won't allow any mosquitoes, ants or other pests through.

Hello, sorry to but in on the conversation, but I have never done this kind of chatting before, so I am totally innocent.

I desperately need help in getting instructions for my pro action nevada 8 person 3 room tent.  Unfortunately, I have just got my tent out so that some students can borrow it to do a charity race this weekend and my instructions are stuck together.  Stupid I know, but I have only used it once myself so can't remember how to do it.

Please help.

Hi HelpNeededFast & welcome to the forum

My post will bring this topic back up to the top, but just in case nobody with a Nevada actually reads it, can I suggest that you post a new topic of something like "Nevada 8 instructions needed". Hopefully then someone who owns a Nevada will arrange to email you the instructions.

Like Happy Hippy our first family tent was a pro action Arizona and we couldn't fault it.

After a year or 2 we upgraded solely for a sewn in ground sheet. We have 3 kids and it was very well laid out with 3 decent bedroms that could open into 1.  Pleased with our newer Coleman but my ideal tent would be the Arizona with a sig!  I've not come across another tent with such a good layout and use of space.

Ours has endured some fierce Scottish weather and is still like new.  Great start out tent.

Dave there is another tent that is the same layout as the arizona with a sig, but ithe down side is that it is pitch inner first (ok unless its raining). I can't remember the model i will look it up for you, but I do know it is a lot more expensive that the Arizona.

We changed to the monty mainly because of the SIG, and to be honest the layout is much more useable than the arizona. We love it, it still has the bed pod that you can devide or have as one big room.

got it! its the Vango Aspen.

Much appreciated if you can remember Hippy!

We had a look at the monty and others which are nice but we have 3 kids and liked the fact that the Arizona bed pod splits into 3 the monty has the 3rd room in that wee extra bit away from the main bed room which just looked fiddly.

I don't mind inner first pitching especially if I can get a sig and 3 side by side rooms!

Thanks again Hippy, hoping your memory skills don't let you down

We have a ProAction Arizona and love it. Takes a while to put up but worth the wait. Got it from ebay for around £70.

our first tent was a pro action tent 4 berth from argos and mainly just use it when me and boyfriend go away had no problems with it at all and stood all weathers

Though it does not come with sewn in ground sheet which campers will agree is a must to keep the beasties out

Hope this helps

Hi Dave its the Vango Aspen, on closer inspection they are basically the same layout but the bed pods are seperate. see links below:

This company brings all things closer:

www.interparcel.co.uk

A freind of mine needed to get an outboard engine from Glasgow and couldn't find a courier to deliver it, i put him on to this company, he placed the order online at 9-00 am, the engine was picked up in Glasgow that afternoon and delivered to him in Swansea 2-00 pm next day, £32, it would be cheaper for a tent as they charge by weight

Just a thought
