Just a little tip, my neighbour used to ask me to look after their cat when they were away, and they used compressed wood pellets just a handful of these in the litter tray was more than enough, these things swell up like I have never seen before and soak up everything, they are compressed sawdust but are dirt cheap and a great idea for the bucket with liner in it. I will try to find out the name if possible as the cat has now passed away, it was 17yrs old, and a very friendly little thing.
