I wonder if anyone knows of a campsite that hires out ready-erected tents? I just thought that it might be nice not to cart all the usual gear for a change. Any site in say, north of the Midlands. I have googled on the internet and there seems to be a few in Cornwall and Wales but only one in Northumberland.

Mind you the thought of camping in this morning's weather fills me with dread - the rain is lashing down and it feels as though the wind is going to take by roof off!

There are two sites in the New Forest (Oakdene and Forest Edge) that have a couple, but not aware of any in the north.

there's a company called something like "canvas holidays".  but from what i've seen it's quite expensive.  i think you get the "park lane" of tents though.  not sure whether they have sites in the north but worth googling.

there is a web site called http://www.campaway.co.uk. the web site is new but has contact information for you, It is a new company i met them at the London Ecxell show as they were enquiring into buying their tents from us, also a good sign is that they only wanted the more expensive Outwells. so they must be keen on quality.

The web site is still in progress , our web design company let us down before Christmas, so we have moved to a new company, the new site is due to go live over the weekend so you should see something by Monday (we are waiting to populate more site details so please bear with us)

We will be taking a Stand at the Outdoor Show in Birmingham in March as our official launch.
