I have this post in the equipment section, but as it also refers to tents I thought I'd hedge my bets!!!!

I have found a campsite that is quite basic, in such that it does not have shower facilities not a real problem as I have a couple of solar showers that I used last year, to great effect, for rinsing down the kids after the beach and thought I could use them at this site.  I've checked out a few American camping websites and they advertise shower tents where you hook up your 20lt solar shower inside and there you have it, instant privacy.

Does anyone know of any companies that make such tents in this country?  Or does anyone have any good suggestions for setting up there own –on pitch- shower site?  I can’t be sure if I will have any trees close by to the pitch so it has to be of a free standing design.

Hi - we have a Zodi shower and got the stand with it too. We set it up in our Outdoor Rev Outhouse and it makes a spacious shower tent (see pic in my profile)

However, when I was looking for a shower tent that could accommodate a solar shower I remember I did not find anything that had sturdy enough hanging points for the weight of the shower bag. I think the only ones I saw were on US sites. If you do end up buying form US I can recommend Cabelas as a reliable company.

One handy hint I do have is to get a cheap paddling pool to use as a shower tray - very cheap (got a mis-shapen one off ebay for 99p!) and packs small too.
