After scouring the internet for new designs from all tent manufacturers during the past couple of days I am surprised how many have seemingly copied the 'outwell- Nebraska xl - xxl designs.

Considering the amount of apparent design probs experienced by many customers, I only hope that these companies have throughly tested their designs prior to releasing this new stock.

In particular take a look at the Wynnster Antares 12 ss07
and the Royal Pescara 8 ss07. These may offer competative alternatives to would-be 'Outwell' customers, like myself, had it not been for their 2006 bad press!!

Perhaps the only way to turn a profit in 2006 for 'Outwell' was to sell these designs and plough the revenue back into the company to reinvest and get the job done properly. As it would seem that half of the stock sold in 2006 has been promised free replacement from the 2007 stock.

Bye bye booohoo blue face, Hello Little China..

Outwell. Royal, Wynnster - - Sunncamp, Vango, Litchfield, Gellert all great tent makes apparently & everyone doing similar style tents.

Outwell will pull it back as it was only certain models that were faulty & not all the tents from those models turned out to be wrong uns and apparently their customer service has been great after reading lots of threads on here - -

I'm sure they will make it through 2007, they still have a good rep really..
