Just out of interest, I was wondering how many Vango Aspen or Diablo owners actually use a groundsheet protector (footprint) with their tent?
Of those who do, did you buy the GSP at the time you bought your tent? was it a later purchase? was it offered discounted or free at the time you bought your tent?
All replies greatly appreciated, many thanks in advance.
we bought the footprint last year and its great.we put this down then we can see how much room we have on the pitch ie where the cars going and toilet tent etc before we erect the tent. But you will find that the footprint is slightly bigger than the tent so you just have to tuck it in before pegging down
Same here - helps to align the tent and keeps the SIG clean. Bought ours as an Ebay bargain after we bought the tent. Some folk look worried at the size of the footprint and then the 700 DLX goes up. Even had some clap when the last peg goes in (which normally coincides with the cork coming out).

We must be experts - we are out standing in our chosen fields!
Ours came free with the tent as we brought our 900 near the end of the season. Its useful but a bit of pain getting it folded properly so that water doesn't pool underneath it.
we don`t bother with a GSP, we looked into it a year ago, but now we just use a couple of old towels while we are packing away to wipe down the SIG, also as we have been using our diablo 600 since 2005, we are used to its footprint etc
