Sorry not in Yorkshire, but if you fancy a day out, the last time that I was in Outdoor Megastore in Liverpool, i'm sure that they had all three definatley the mckinley and the xl classic and it's not too far from leeds!

I have a Mackinley. It has more headroom than the Biker. I can get in by ducking down rather than crawling in.  Very easy to erect and even easier to take down. Mine was a bit of a mistake buy though, I should have gone for the Freelander for the stand up height. I also have the Tourer200 for family hols when the kids can help with the pegging out. You might try Caseys Camping at Otley, but give them a ring first, they used to stock Khyam last year. But things change.

Camperlands in Northenden (Manchester outskirts, just off M.way, look for their website) They are Khyam main dealers, sale on now as well! Less than an hour from Leeds, easy to get to from M.way. They usually have the full range on display undercover including the biggest quick-erect stuff.

I have a Biker, and also a Highlander (older one with rear doors as well as fronts) both great tents, they don`t pack small, but that`s what you pay for having the benifit of quick-erect  McKinley is quite a bit larger all round than the Biker. Check out Kyham website for footprint sizes.

I had the MacKinley and it was a very good tent. I now have the Freelander which is only a little bigger pack size but a standing room tent.

Thoroughly recommend either.

Son has the biker as he only has a 125cc motorbike but I have to say it is tiny.

Biker is sold as a 3 man I believe. Plenty of room for 2 people in the sleeping area and all the kit goes in the front porch area.

Have you tried Mitchells. just outside Wakefield here. They are part of the Go Outdoors group and I know they usually stock Khyam tents.

They have quite a good outdoor display once the weather allows.....i often find an excuse to trot up to that part of the world to check it out!

3 very very close personal friends I would think.

Son is 6'3" and tbh there is only really room for him and his gear.

I don't know if the OP is asking from a biking point of view because if so you need 1 extra space for leathers, crash helmet etc.

There is also no groundsheet in the porch so not ideal for keeping clothes or semi valuables there.

I have a McKinley, it's the recommended tent for the BMW GS motorcyclists.

Good size when pitched, sleeps 3 without a problem, plus, packs small enough to carry on a motorbike.

I got mine from ABC Camping http://www.abc-camping.co.uk/ and it came with a full groundsheet, included it the price. Put groundsheet down first, then pitch the tent on top of it. Room in porch for gear etc.

We, Outdoor Megastore in Liverpool have McKinley and Biker on display plus last year's XL Classic (2 left in last years colour). The new XL Classic (in the new Blue/Grey colourway) is due to the larger Khyam retailers this week (and our website will be updated when they arrive). Currently selling the last 2 of the 06 stock on-line for £274.99 (price of new model is £289.99) but we will let last 2 06 models go for £250 if anyone wants to ring in a telephone order to us tomorrow in 0845 130 8982. Cheers. Paul.
