Evening all

After last years camping the OH has insisted on "BETTER" lighting, We have been using a rechargeable flourescant lantern, but the OH wants something a bit brighter. We have got EHU.

Any suggestions please ??????????????????????????

We have a single energy saving bulb on a cable and three pin plug which we run off our EHU, it hangs from the central tie in the tent. I have put a small swith unit in line so that it can easily be turned on and off.

 We have two types of lights , both of which are car mechanics lights , one is a flourescent type tube that hangs from a hook, the other is a single bulb held up by a spring loaded crocodile clip, and they are easily bright enough to read by. 

 We got ours from halfords , but i think camping specialists sell similar things.

Hi

If you have EHU why not just take a table lamp from home, or buy just a cheap one, put a 60w bulb in it and job sorted. You could get 2 depending on how big your tent is, but remember to keep them away from the tent material.

we have the coleman dual fuel latern it is fab,its oh best thing when we go camping

We use a pair of those halogen desk lamps that retract then fold down to nothing.  good bright lights for reading.
