Hi Katie,
I think you ned to write down what you want from the tent and see which one comes up to what you want. Hydrostatic head (at least 2000), living space needs, what pitches first., price, etc. I have never had either of these makes or a tent with a riser ground sheet so can't comment but i suppose it is a good idea in some cases, would help keep out draughts i expect. They both look similar and not much difference in price. Vango well known and do a wider range of tents for all seasons. Lichfield the cheaper end of the market but still I believe decent for the mafority of camping needs. Sure there will be some one along who are experts in both makes before long, Nees to hurry though, camping season not far off now, yippee. May even start early iof weaather outlook is right.
