Some friends have bought a Monty 6 and asked if, when the curtain between the two bedrooms is open, does the botton zip lay flat so you can put an airbed across the middle of both pods?
No it doesn't lay completely flatbut its not very high only the height of the zip, and it starts to rise up the walls about 1 inch in, if you get what I mean.
You could properbly fit a junior air bed across it but a longer one would put presure on the pod walls.

Hi Chas44, we to have got the 2007 Monty 6 for this season and want only the single bedroom. Thanks Happy Hippy for the update, we were only re looking at the Monty on Saturday but failed to look at this aspect.
sorry to but in on this thread but i have another monty 6 question and i didnt see the point of starting a new thread. having purchased a new monty ( which is being delivered thursday woo hoo) in all the pictures of the monty i see and all the displays we have seen it looks like you cant' make the front door into a canopy as all the pics show it as being rolled up . can anyone shed any light on this please
somehow i had a feeling about this ,we ordered the tent in september but only now i have thought about it .i have found on a few sites on the tinternet that outwell do porch poles and clips i wonder if i could rig something up
Hi Bigrog, u probably could but I can't remember seeing any eyelets in the front or side doors to locate the normal canopy poles. There is a front canopy on Ebay at the moment for £28.
Have a look on my gallery images - yes - you can make the front 'door' into a canopy and the side one as well, from memory. We didn't have the add-on canopy when I took this picture but have it now and its great if your staying put for a few days. Biggest advantage is the rain doesn't get in when you open the door!!
thanks for all the replies ,fiond did the poles come with the tent or did you have to buy them seperatly. roll on the weekend (if its dry ) i'll try to get it up which should give all the neighbours a good laugh like i did last year
The tent had one set of pegs for the canopies included - you can only have the front OR the side one up at a time - sure you can buy other sets though somewhere.
