We live in Sc**thorpe, so if someone could reccommend somewhere for us to visit. We had wondered about the show at nottingham.
Hi birchstart,
The Khyam Frontier Excelsior is an older model (4oz fabric), so suspect you won't be able to see one pitched though they are still available here. Interesting, because this package includes an all-in-one inner; I wonder if that means there is a total clip-in inner tent, with just curtains to separate the bedroom areas? If so, this must be the only ridgi-dome with SIG?
If the inner does extend throughout the tent, it would perhaps make this Khyam seem lighter inside than some of its newer counterparts, as well as improving insulation properties and making it more 'cozy' (subjective viewpoint, I realise).
On the other hand, it only mentons two bedroom pods with an interconnecting groundsheet in the living area, so that could just mean that there is no roof lining or second skin to the tent walls (difficult to work this one out, isn't it?).
I'd be interested to hear what this package actually entails, if you do choose to get one, so please keep us posted!
