Hi birchstart and welcome to UKCS a most addictive website. The show in Nottingham is a Yeomans show and therefore only they will be in attendance. Quite a lot of people on here say that they put on a good display. Otherwise Crowland Caravans has a good tent display in lincolnshire but further away from you than Nottingham.

HI Katieays, we last visited Crowland last September and they had Outwells, Sunncamps Vangos from what we can remember. Accessory shop was very good and had a large range of gear for both campers and caravanners. Its located behind a large Wyvale garden centre (this building used to be the huge camping shop). Can get a nice lunch and cup of coffee in here to.

The tent display was in a very large padock to the side of the caravans

Hi birchstart,

The Khyam Frontier Excelsior is an older model (4oz fabric), so suspect you won't be able to see one pitched though they are still available here. Interesting, because this package includes an all-in-one inner; I wonder if that means there is a total clip-in inner tent, with just curtains to separate the bedroom areas? If so, this must be the only ridgi-dome with SIG?

If the inner does extend throughout the tent, it would perhaps make this Khyam seem lighter inside than some of its newer counterparts, as well as improving insulation properties and making it more 'cozy' (subjective viewpoint, I realise).

On the other hand, it only mentons two bedroom pods with an interconnecting groundsheet in the living area, so that could just mean that there is no roof lining or second skin to the tent walls (difficult to work this one out, isn't it?).

I'd be interested to hear what this package actually entails, if you do choose to get one, so please keep us posted!
