Hi well now we have our new tent and just bought our trailer tonight we looking to going camping this weekend just somewhere local

Just wondering if anyone thinking of braving the weather and decicing to go this weekend???

Any  one know what the weather is going to be like???

and do you think we mad???

if the weather is going to be dry then i would brave it this weekend  but take lots of warm clothing and blankets

Having just had a broken tent pole and the tent half collapsed on Saturday night cos of the winds , I'd say forget it until the better weather. The cold didn't bother but the wind certainly did! It was awful and scary!!

there is a load of us tenting it at the UKCS meet at dent this weekend, yes we are mad but we are all prepared, firepit (thanks to the wonderful daisybev), firewood and plenty of it, mains lighting, plenty of alcohol and a sense of humour

going to be a goodun, look out for the pix next week in the gallery see who made it

i thought about going to Dent, but we have just moved house and are going abroad in a month, so couldnt afford the time off. Hope to meet up with you Alan and all the other names this year sometime. secretly glad now, cos its so cold this week.

Brrrrrrrrr its cold but as long as its dry, im going for the first time next wednesday  on the Yorkshire Moors.  Everyone thing seem to think im mad!!!!!!!!!!

I was all set to go a couple of weeks ago but had to cancel as I needed to work. We was all set to go again this weekend but now the wife has to work.

Still, we have easter off so we should be ok for a couple of short breaks then.
