A sort of round loop at right angles to the peg shaft? They`re for pegging down the webbing strap that runs across the front door, and two for the pegging points in the front of the small pod. Been a while since I did this in my late Cadiz, but if I recall right there are two eyelets in the crossways tension strap there, and the flat topped pegs go through the pod pegging points, through the eyelets and into the ground. There might have been eyelets in the groundsheet too at this point....can`t quite recall.
If the pegs weren`t flat topped they might fret into the pod groundsheet, or cut someone`s foot.
Incidentally, does the Cadiz still come with L-shaped pegs? Because I found them a bit unreliable, in that they rotated in the ground and let the guylines slip off. Crook-top pegs are much better and not expensive, which is why I replaced all the Gelert ones with them.
