we could, bubbles but in the end we are all different,my advice to you is to go an see the tents actually pitched, theres loads of places to see them,ie garden centres etc,an remember dont go too big or you might have probs erecting it(the tent),most of the big tent manufacterers produce good stuff,...kyham,outwell,vango peakland etc, depends where you are really, also you can use the search on this site, its really good,...

Hi and welcome!
We were in a similar situation to you a couple of years ago. We made the mistake of 'jumping' for a huge tent from Argos which turned out to be flimsy and not really up to very much. We then had a look around camping shops and saw lots of tents on display.
It really depends what you want. We have 3 kids and needed an area we could cook in so looked for a tent with a porch and sewn-in-groundsheets (you either love 'em or hate 'em - personally I like to have all my floor area sealed from the elements and creepy crawlies!). We also wanted the kids near us rather than on opposite sides of the tent, so went for a tent with 'pods' jutting out from the main living area. We bought a Khyam Breckenridge Deluxe and it served us well....BUT...it did take the best part of 2 hours to put up fully which then prompted us to look for a tent that erected 'all in one' (without the seperate flysheet that throws over the top).
This led us to the Outwell Montana 12. A huge tunnel tent that took half an hour to put up and another half hour to fix all the guy lines. Trouble is, we had to sacrifice a large porch for cooking in - and after one season, decided we needed the porch after all (the toddler was a nightmare near the cooking station).
Our last choice had the best of everything....the Outwell Vermont XL.

We then decided however we wanted a folding camper - and that's where we are at now
Good luck on your decision!!!!
