We're thinking of getting one of these as a day tent. We've looked at the Sunncamp day tent and Outwell Oklahoma but the khyam seems to be easier to put up has aluminium poles and mudflaps and is lighter than the Outwell. Has anyone got one of these and if so is it a good buy?

We have one and really like it; it is very quick and easy to pitch and has the added bonus that, if you purchase an optional inner tent, it can also be used as a very spacious sleeping area as and when required.

The Kyham Screenhouse comes with our new Sprintaway Lux but the rear of the tent is modified to "clip" onto the back of our caravan. However, the modification is such that it remains a full tent when not being used as the awning.

I am impressed with the Kyham and whilst I have only had it up in the garden to see how easy it was erected and dismantled, it does come with all the extra poles for the porch canopy extensions, guys for these, spare joints and repair kit.

At 6' 4", I can stand comfortably at the side and still have full headroom. Not many dome tents will give me this.
