been so long for me. i am not that sure what they look like.. maybe you or anyone esle can desciribe what they look like. colours. size. ( in the nicest possible way)
i always thought they were green. now i find out i am colour blind. so that guy in the car at the traffic light i went thru had a valid reason to shout something at me.
hi bob. do you think you may get away for a halloween meet this year. or maybe a xmas or new year meet. i am determined to go somewhere. mate keeps saying he will go. then says no. then yes. so i have given up on him. and. he has just sold all his gear. i could have bought some of that. double stove. top quality singe airbed. 24 cans of gas. tent. must have been £300 worth of gear. and he sells it for £50. jeez. what brainless dipstick. the double stove would have been great for me at xmas. as a xmas dinner could be cooked on that. turkey cooked at home. veg as well all in small containers. just need to heat up. . ah well. these things come to test us. i will be making lentil soup as well. i make a mean lentil soup. better than the rubbish in a tin. made at home. into a well sealed container. and heat up on the site for a belly filling meal. . a lot of food could be cooked at home and kept in plastic containers. they will stay fresh in the porch in the cold weather.
I am certainly hoping I may be able to get away by New Years Eve, Brian, but it all depends on how successful the operation is on 30th November and how quick I can recover...plus the weather...I won't be risking any minus 5 degrees c this year.
hi bob. how is the weather down there. just started raining here. clear blue sky all morning. and rain for tomorrow as well. at least it is not cold. going out soon. hair cut time. shed a few fleas too. lol. got my bedroom to wallppare this weekend. but youngest son just may help. walls are flat all round. no bits sticking out. just a few switches. and a radiator. so will not to be too hard to do. oh and i went to see the owl the other night. it was eating from one of the kids hands. still free to go any time it wants. but seems happy to just stay there. small porch on the side of a shed that it goes into. and boy, that owl is growing. but so tame. i forget what type it is. but it is about 18 inche tall. and huge eyes that seem to look right thru ya. all i can say is that is one happy bird. well fed. and loved. and a decent shelter. what more could an owl want. however. the vet said. if it finds a mate. it may not come back. the mate would not settle here as there are people here all the time. but. why get a wife who will take you away from good food and a warm house.
