Yes it does. The main shower/laundry block looks a bit dated but it's spotlessly clean inside and showers are HOT and free, also there are hair dryer points in there When I was there last September the site was being updated and there were portacabin-type toilets at the end of the camping field, again very clean. There's also a small shop at the entrance and a small club house which serves meals and snacks. It's not a noisy place, you can't hear it from the tent field anyway, and when ever I go in September there's rarely anyone in there.

Hi Tigermouse and Jeanie51, I'm a 50-something woman thnking about getting back into camping, did a lot with my family but they have all flown the nest. I would like a tent with a bit of space (bedroom and porch) but not too difficult to put up, what tents do you use?

Hi Morgaine,
I'd recommend the Vango Galaxy 300. It's a great little medium sized tent. I'm around 6'3" and can almost stand up in the porch, and it's wide enough for a couple of tables and a couple of chairs without being cramped. The porch has a clip in bathtub groundsheet, which offers plenty of ventilation which reduces condensation. The bedroom is completely sealed so no bugs or draughts can get in, but it has plenty of ventilation. It's easy to pitch, I can pitch it on my own in about 15 minutes. I am a big fan of it, and it's not too heavy to cart around.
I've had mine a couple of years now and used it about 6 times, twice had to put it up in a down pour, no problems at all.

Leave only footprints, take only pictures and memories. There is no bad weather only bad gear.

Hi there. My tent is a few years old. Not sure what. Last time I went with friends I bought a small tubular type that nearly puts itself up it all folds up like a hoola hoop, but only good for sleeping in. I have been looking at the ones that you pump up and they look easy for someone on their own but plenty of space too.I just googled pump up tents and loads popped up and you can look at the reviews too.Jeannie.

I use a Mojave 5, not camped for two year.

The tent itself is easy to go up solo with plenty of space inside (around the same width as most 6 man tents now)... although this time will be the first time I will have put up the porch solo so will see if any problems doing that when in Suffolk end of June.
