It was great meeting everyone, those who I have met before and new people to me.
I really enjoyed myself and so did Nix, he would like to let you all know, he says, thank you for all the fuss and attention he received.
The time went too quickly.
I made it for the Cup match, the team lost, 9-0. There is always next week. Never mind.

hi all, me and foxie to, very nice to meet you all, the nicest camping people, and a great weekend, look forward to being able to make it some other time, trying to put some pics up lol take care sandra.
I came home to a broken down fridge/freezer! Ditched loads of stuff today thankfully only frozen veg so nothing too expensive. My camping mini fridge is just big enough for milk and butter!
Thanks to all who organised a fab weekend! Great company! Great laughs :)
Hey Sandra - sorry I didn't work out until the last minute how far you had travelled! Well impressed! Look, if you and Foxey come and see us all again - and you MUST - I would be more than happy to share cooking stuff, blankets etc.etc. Lift from Manchester too if I can.
Me and Flo had an amazing walk on the Sunday - that peak in the distance from the campsite - Win Hill --- we conquered it - including getting Flo over a 6ft wall lol!
Take care all, and if any of you are on FB ... do keep in touch xx
Hi Jill. It just kind of organised itself - Julie put the idea out and everyone ran with it. Couldn't meet a nicer bunch of people and lots of lovely pictures and memories to reflect back on.
Any excuse not to unpack the car! I am planning on doing an overnighter at the Shrewsbury Arms at the weekend if anyone is at a loose end.
Hi Wanda, is there access to loo's between closing time and 9am?

No, there isn't. There are no showers either. It is only a short stay campsite. Ann's been there and says the food in the pub is really good, but she has a camper van as you know so she won't be bothered about the availability of loos! I think the Griffin at Trevalyn link is a far better proposition. It has a facilities block with a security coded lock so only the campers can use it. The food in the pub is very good, though not cheap. The people are so nice they would probably do egg and chips for you if you asked them! LOL There is limited ehu on the tent field.
Oh yes, that's right. I forgot about that. The Griffin is better all round because it's not adults only and also has accessible toilets/showers etc. I don't know about fires - it doesn't say you can't have them!
You will definitely need a bigger trailer with all the gear you are amassing!
