Hello Again all Happy Campers,

I have Now secured 10 pitches at Greenhills Farm Leisure Park, Bletchingdon, Oxfordshire to hold a Single Parents/Solo Campers meet in April 2009. Which may be increased.

The duration of this stay will be 2 nights and the dates for this meet will be Friday April 24th 2009 until Sunday April 26th 2009. For this meet all units will be welcomed.

The prices for this meet will be as followed:

£10 p.n without E.H.U

£13 p.n with E.H.U ( this has been comfirmed now )

All parties that are attending will be put together in the Caravan Field for the duration of the stay.

Could all intended parties please ring the site directly and not myself  and when you book please Quote Ref Alan Uk as this will comfirm your pitch. There phone number is 01869 315600  and you can also email your booking to the site as well but please make sure that you receive your comfirmation. I haven't had any problems so far with email booking up to now. Once you have had your pitch comfirmed could you please leave me a post here saying and letting me know who is in your party and intended unit as i will be making a list of those who have had there pitch comfirmed.

I do advise you get your bookings in early as this is a popular site and places will fill up quickly. If you cancel your pitch please let me know also as I can  then take you off the list and someone else can take that pitch. If you intend to bring your dog COULD YOU PLEASE follow the site rules carefully and keep your dog on a lead AT all times as this farm is a free range farm and there is animals roaming free. For those who have small children could those parents please keep an close eye on there children as there are lakes and ponds nearby  but they are fenced off but we know what children are like, they like to explore...

Hi Al,

I have sent a booking request to Paul for the entire week starting 20th. April. Awaiting confirmation, don't think there will be any trouble after all I am a very well behaved senior citizen. Will be nice to meet up with everybody again especially the Queen, I will bring plenty of mumpable gear!! I will certainly bring crash hat and kites. Let us hope the van has survived the winter.

               You are not weird for being a solo camper, I am a solo "1 1/2 tin roofer". (See my profile) Speaking from experience of two wonderful meets with this bunch you will not find a better and more comradely,helpful lot. You will be made most welcome, please do come. I echo the Queens post regarding families as well. Hope we will see you Debbie & Neil, I bet the babe is now walking and into all kinds of mischief.
