Hi peeps

Just ordered a new tent which is being delivered tomorrow along with cooking thingy and kettle for the pot noodles!!  obviously very keen to try out so was wondering if anyone fancies meeting up at Hayfield camp site (near Glossop) either during the week or weekend after Easter?

Hope you get some people interested but its a bit too cold for me still plus I live in New Mills which is 5 min down the road from Hayfield so not much of a get away. It's a lovely campsite and area.

i am undecided whether to go there or edale as i have been told the ground is very hard and i need steel pegs or something... alos going by train and the edale station is 400 mts from campsite.  i live in Ashton which is the other side of Stockport from you.

I love Edale, Castleton and Hope and yes its right off the train line to Sheffield. Not heard about the ground being hard at Hayfield though but then I've not been there for a very long time. I know Ashton as I used to work there and had friends that lived there.

Have decided on Edale as it is near the train station.  went on one of the walks there a few years ago and tea in the nags head but never camped so looking forward to it.  going after Easter tho cos on hen party in Leeds for easter weekend.  think we are booked in 26 to 28 April.

whereabout in Ashton did you work?  i am at TGH.
