Your chosen site looks good to me. I'd be happy to meet up there. Sorry too tired to write more today having just got back from a couple of days camping in Zummerzet with the dog.

Anytime you fancy a weekend away give me a shout. As long as I can get there on the train/bus I'm up for it.

Not sure i'm up for the Brigsty meet-park looks lovely but doesn't sound very public transport friendly.

Hi ladies, saw this forum from googling solo camping for women and am really glad to see that it seems a safe hobby, I'm a complete newbie and have my first camp out in 3 weeks which I'm hoping I'll enjoy.

If anyone would like to meet up in the next few months with a newbie then I'd love to join. I have to rely on public transport so can really only camp in Staffordshire, Peak District and the surrounding areas.

I look forward to getting to know you all on here :)

Thanks Sandra, I've always wanted to try camping so I can't wait for my first camp with a walking forum I belong to, trouble is I think I'm the only single female going.

I'm hoping after my first one to have a few days away in May or June :)
