Hi my name is Jo and I'm from Guildford.
I enjoy camping but its hard to find people to go with...
I have a few days off in July and would like to go camping somewhere within about 2 hours drive from home.
Is there any meet ups organised for mid July or would anyone be interested in sorting one out ?
Being the first time I've done this I would prefer other single females but a mixture is all good too.
I don't have any kids but I do like them I just haven't had any yet so not anti or anything :)
Anyway I hope to hear from some of you soon !

When in July? My kids are away with their Dad from 14th or 15th I think for 5 days and I would be up for a camping trip while they are gone.

Hi Girls, (and Guys of course)

Don't know if any of you would be interested for a weekend in August (assuming the July meet-up is a succes).

I've booked to go to the Bentworth Blues Festival (nr Alton) for w/e 16/18th.  I'm going on my own and it would be great to have some company.  I've just looked online and as of tonight there are still about 120 tickets left.

Just an idea......

Sorry I am working that weekend, shame because I love a festival !
The other 2 haven't replied so not sure what they are doing..
I'm not going away in july now as I've been invited to a christening on the sunday and think I could prob do with some time off work at home to get things straight.
I'd love to do something another time tho (work permitting) so bear me in mind please :)

Hi Jo,

I'm not doing much camping-wise this year, but if I do I'll drop you a line.

Depending on the weather, I'll be going to the Great Dorset Steam Fair. (28th Aug onwards).  For campers you can just turn up and pay on the day.  Brill atmosphere, varied music tents, and plenty going on. (bit expensive 'tho)

Life is very busy so I'm struggling to find time to go away.
I have the 22nd -26th booked off an definitely need to go away so if anyone is about then we should arrange something.
I traditionally go to north Devon for the August bank hol.

Hey! I'm not a single camper.. I have a lady friend but we are always looking for camping buddies as were both a bit introverted and friend lacking since we've moved down from Scotland! We live in Kent and haven't had a chance to crack out any of the tents this summer.

Hi all,

I am also a solo camper but as a chap people tend to think your a bit weird camping by your self. like most single boys and girls here, we may be single but we can still go camping!
I am in Suffolk and it looks like most meets are up north is there any one wanting to may be have an easterly area meet some time in the future?
