Hi,
I'm new to all this, just bought my first caravan and looking to meet up with other single parents. I have 2 weeks holiday at the end of august and want to go somewhere yorks/lincs so my daughter has someone to play with and I'm not sat on my own. I've been reading some of the posts but can't find dates only months for some of the meets. So if anyone could let me know of any meets I would be grateful. I'm looking forward to getting the most out of my caravan and making some new friends. :)

hi 74.. welcome to this great camping club. don't worry. someone will be along soon offering lots of good advice. there will be lots of meets going. and usualy a mix of tents and vans. so you will fit in very fast. and meet lots of great people. there is a section for caravans usualy for information for minor repairs. .good luck toy in you new venture in a tin tent. have fun.

I live in Ross on wye but my daughter lives near Mansfield Nottingham. I spend must if my time in Nottingham so Yorkshire is never too far away.

If you like if you choose a site and dates and I'm free perhaps we could have a arrange a weekend or something.

Nice to hear from you. I am hoping to go away around 18th august over bank holiday somewhere near dalby forest at Whitby however I haven't booked anything yet as I'm having some issues with my electrics which I hope will be sorted this week :(. If you have any suggestions for somewhere to stay I'd love to hear them but I would like a beach nearby if possible and a playground.
