Hi Everyone, My name is Chas and I am single 55yo male.
I become a full-time caravaner at the beginning of this year and enjoying it - although times can be lonely, I am looking to making new friends during my 2017 journey, I am on facebook should you wish to connect - https://www.facebook.com/ChasLewis62
I am pitched on a great farm site in the midlands, would be great if anyone would like to pop along and meet up over a few days. Its just me and my caravan.
Anyone fancy a few days in the middle of nowhere then come and join me.
An older gentleman at 55, I became homeless so decided to buy a caravan and have lived alone in it since January, At present I am semi-permanent on a small farm site which suits me for now. like others have said, dont be afraid to get out there and if need be ask as there are many good people only too willing to help. Leicestershire based if ever you come this way
Hi. Am a single 48 year old female wanna be solo camper as i am widowed. I'm in south Yorkshire and wondered if anyone fancied meeting up for a weekend in Yorkshire? Never camped alone before but have camped a lot so I'm not too daunted, just don't want to be the sad lady in a corner on her own!

Hello Wishgirl. Im 65 and have always camped on my own. I find you are more likely to talk to other campers if you are on your own. But recently met up with a female cyclist in Scotland and found it very enjoyable to share her company. So perhaps I will be looking for companions in future.
I'm the 65 years young chap you see wild camping on roundabouts, the busier the road the better. I find them good places to wild camp because motorist don't get out of there cars and pedestrians won't cross the road. So I'm undistrubed.
Good evening. Im cycling around the coastline of Great Britain, I've done 3200 miles so far from Blackpool to to Orkneys with the sea always on my right. I wild camp and camp site. I still have 1300 miles to go along north coast and wester ielses, would you like to join me. Tony
Whilst on a Cycle-Tenting holiday in 1970 from Brighton to Lands End and back, my brother and I got separated in Devon.
I reported it to the local Police, they asked where I'd spent the night, I said I'd do it on the roundabout so my brother can see the tent if he catches up.
I was told (in no uncertain terms) there is now way I'd be allowed to, because of the high risk of a vehicle crashing into me.
------------- In the beginning there was darkness.
Then I bought a tent.
I'm not destitute, I'm just poor.
