I'm a single woman, no kids or dogs, looking for fellow solo campers with no kids for 1-3 night getaways. Within 40-50 mile radius of London is most convenient for me. I'm guessing there must be somebody available who likes to go camping!

I'm a tent camper and prefer more isolated spots, if possible. In other words, I don't want to be crammed in a field right next to other people. I prefer a bit more wild and rustic, so we can build fires and enjoy nature. Also, I'm into bushcraft-type stuff, so I want to be able to get my knife out to make feather sticks without someone freaking out.

I'd be happy to chat and see if we're on the same page, and arrange to meet in advance for lunch or something to see how we get on.

Hi , I just seen your add , did you manage to find a camping buddy. am looking for someone to go camping with , but ...I am in Newcastle . I have just started to get in to camping, I have all the gear am just not good at doing things by myself. Anyway just thought add drop ya a line. 🙂

Hi! I’m in Woking, Surrey. Really missing planning camping trips for the year. I managed 5 last year. I have kids and a partner - they just aren’t keen on the camping experience as much as I am! I too prefer isolated camping. No electric. Cooking on a campfire.

Hi Annie,
I’m Mike and have started to get back into camping, and also love rustic and as much as real wild camping, currently booked two weekends in two lovely spots for this as long as the restrictions are lift in July.

I live near the M25 near Watford, and have easy access to all the areas surrounding London.

Looking forward to cooking over a campfire again (with a couple of beers :-). ), enjoying the sounds of nature and minimum tech.

If you make your feather sticks I will bring my fire steel.

Good news lock down appears to be coming to an end, sort of.

So on the 4th of July it would appear that camp site will be opening.

It does look like some of us here would like to go camping, who would like to meet up for a camping trip to a mutual agreed site near London?

If you could let me know where you guys live I could do a search for camp site with wild camping as a theme and camp fires are allowed.

I have already booked two trip and looking to book one on the 4th of July.
