Not on the list - let us know and we will add it! Please add the new link and details at the bottom of these pages in the post it box and I will update the list below as soon as I am able.

Updated 18th May 2011

Thanks to all of the Fixed it members for the help they give to everyone in the caravan section who has a problem with maintenance and restoration. This has become a very valuable part of this forum. Never fear the ' Fixed It Club' is here!!!

Please post any questions about caravan problems and repairs in the
Workshop, Servicing and Maintenance  or by starting a New Topic . Don't forget to do a search for a topic previously covered. Thanks

Welcome Als, best place to store your website is  and as a ukcampsite member they will give you a discount too! I have been using them since 2002 and have never had any problems and any questions asked are usually answered within 24hrs!
The 100 Meg 3* Win2003 Hosting Plan is ideal for most of the Fixed it Clubs members sites and you don't have to put up with the ads that some hosts insist on you having all over your site!
Go on treat yourself, you know your visitors want you to offer them the best availability for your site! [:o)]

I Seem to have plugged this host again!!!!

Hi Muller , Welcome to UKCS , you would probably be better off posting your question Here , The Fixed it Club mainly deals with damp repairs .

But here's a answer to your question , you can run the blow air heating off mains electric , but only if you have an electric element housed within the Gas heater casing , i would have thought your caravan may not have this element . So you probably have to either run your heating from the gas heater or use a fan heater / convector heater and run it from a mains 13amp plug .

Hope this helps .

I have just got my first caravan an abbey Belmont 420, 2 berth.

I have had a few peoblems some i have kind of worked out some not.

My leisure battery will not charge by car or electric.

I had put an ordenery battery charger onto the battery anf this seemed to work, thus indicating a problem with the charging unit wherever that is hiding.

cany any one enlighten me

Dampavan: I will shortly be discontinuing this site as well as my main site gower-coast.co.uk. I hope that the visitors I've had have enjoyed the sites and also that my little attempt to help people with repairs has been of value.
Thanks to the existence of the 'Fixed it club' I was able to carry out my repairs and then document them. Special thanks to the Wizard and Papa Pip for their help.
Not leaving caravanning and most certainly not leaving here, just the business of maintaining my websites.
            Thanks to all, Ray

Hi Ray, tis a shame but we all know that you have indeed helped others through your sites and that many folks will be indebted to you for all the hard work.

More time to spend using the van sounds good to me! (-;
