Hi, just had this bracket fall out from under the front of the tow hitch and wondered what it's for and where it goes. Nothing obvious from looking but it must be there for a reason. Thanking in anticipation
Mark

It looks very much like the bracket from under the front of the Plastic A frame cover that sits over the top. You have a screw each side the front of the cover and I suspect it is the reinforcing bracket which is glued in place above them at the top of the curvature. If it is this it really do anything but stiffen.

Thankyou Very much for the information.
What your saying makes perfect sense.
There was only 1 screw not really screwed in the front of the a frame holding the cover on and when I took that out to replace both screws the bracket fell.
There is no holes or obvious signs of attachment and guess that is just been hanging in there for a while.
I'm going away tomorrow and just wanted some reassurance that it was ok to not have to take the whole cover off and investigate further.
You've put my mind at rest and I'll leave it for another day.
Thankyou Very much, have a great day.
Warm regards
Mark
