Hi all.im new here and have very old aluminium shell caravan 50years plus.
It's now been a static on farm land for many years.i need to replace the gas piping.im assuming this age caravan would have 1/4" pipe.( would the current isolation taps in the floor have 1/4" bsp thread?) It has small belling 4 ring oven gas fire and gas fridge.i have also constructed a shower room outside which has gas shower. I'm isolating and removing the wall gas lights jn the xaravan, as they haven't been used for many years .( wouldn't be safe I guess anyway)
Would it be best to run 8mm copper pipe with a 4 branch isolation manifold to isolate each appliance. They currently only have local isolation valves on fire and fridge. So not ideal for cooker or shower. I'm running all off one bottle which has been sufficient. All lighting and TV is solar panel.
