Can anybody please tell me where to source rooflight hinge pins? I can see plenty for the battery door but none for skylights. Thanks.

Depending on manufacturer I guess, but if a Heki and you Google "caravan heki roof light hinge pins" you will have loads of sources.

Just Google "caravan roof light hinge pins" brings up a number of alternative brands as well.

Followed your advice, it's a Heki 2 I think, all I got was hinge kits not separate pins. I don't need the hinge just the pins.
Thanks anyway.

There of course is the possibility that you can't get the pins on their own.

Knitting needles do the job cut to length ,just buy some the right diameter.

If it's the pin for the gas strut, they are called clevis pins and are held in place with a starlock washer. If not, perhaps one with the right length and diameter could do the job? Otherwise they only seem to sell the complete hinge assembly.

Thanks folks for the information, the clevis pins seem a good bet or maybe the knitting needles with starlock washers.
I'll just have to hope they don't break when I remove them to seal the outer frame of the skylight. I was just thinking in advance since sometimes "what can go wrong does go wrong"

Thankfully, I managed to remove the skylight without breaking the pins so need for the anxiety on my part.
It's really a two-person job to remove the skylight, one to hold the perspex and one to pull the pins. I had to do both, and I must admit the air was blue by the time I finished...phew!
Definitely won't try that again!

Glad it all worked out ok. The thought of breaking anything on the Heki is a nightmare as the price of replacement parts is horrendous for what they are.
