Hello, I've a problem the fanmaster starts incidently by itself. Why, is that normal some kind of savety, bad air circulation?
Can happen day or night. All vents are open.
Battery often low, so if fan uses 12V without me noticing it, it sucks having an empty battery.
How do I prevent this from happening?
I only use the Carver gasheater 3000s but never combined with the Gas/Electric fan.
If wise, how do I temporarely disconnect the two, unsrew panelbord, pull out elctra plugs?
For a future sale it might be nice to give buyer the option of a fan.
Thanks In Advance.

Not at all familiar with the heater itself, but you mentioned your battery is often low!

A low battery voltage can often cause odd/spurious behaviour in electronics - your heater has an electronic control system if I'm not mistaken, it may simply be that. Is it only happening when battery low?

If your battery gets low, I'm taking it you are off grid with no EHU. Discharging too low can cause irreversible damage to a battery, which will reduce its capacity and eventually prematurely kill it. Otherwise, the battery may simply be coming towards end of life and no longer has the storage capacity it once had! A solar panel may be your solution to keeping battery charged if otherwise in good condition.

Thanks Monty15 for your input. I am connected to solar pannels. Yes it happens when battery is already low and thats why I dont like it to happen.

Birdman 101, the panel is always switched off. As it starts by itself the upper light of Gas auto Fan flashes. Without heater on. Is it as suggested, electrical malfunction to do with low battery?
If not a savety thing can I best disconnect panel?
Thank you.

If you look at the right hand side of the fanmaster itself behind the fire, you will see the 4 wire black cable leading to the switch plugged in together with a 2 wire connector at the side which is the 12v supply to the heater. Simply pulling this power.connection out will kill it dead solving the problem, however as the first two positions on the switch suggest, its designed to work in conjunction with the gas fire to greatly improve gas fires heat distribution.
