If you Google the product you can find out the true facts yourself. This is what I have found after a Google search:
Perfect for cleaning patios and decking, however, it doesn't stop there as it can be used on almost all hard surfaces. Including fencing, paving, tarmac, garden paths, terracotta, glass greenhouses, windows, plastic, PVC and even caravans!

Certainly wouldn't use that sort of product without careful research of specific product suitability! Lot of different materials - metals, paints, sealants and plastics, on a caravan, some quite sensitive to chemical reactions.
'Wet and Forget' claims suitable for Caravans/MHs etc., BUT read the instructions and it says it may take WEEKS and even MONTHS to clean the surface! - obviously depends on degree of 'growth'. It's meant to be just applied and left to do it's thing, unlike most specific vehicle cleaning products which are faster acting and washed off at the time to leave a clean surface.
My caravan roof was pretty grim, having not been washed for 2 or 3 years (of my ownership, and I suspect even more in previous owner's possession!), and the overwinter open air storage left it green, black, and encrusted with 'all sorts', but Fenwicks Caravan Cleaner and a long handled wash brush brought it up impressively clean.
I'm lazy and don't like cleaning the van much, but do it thoroughly when I do, Fenwicks seems to do the job for me, mobile Service Engineer commented in Nov on how clean the van was considering it's age (7 years), and it hadn't been washed since about March, the Caravan Cleaner had got the muck off, and the Bobby Dazzler rinse kept it pretty clean!
My view of these things is, a bad choice of product can cause extensive damage which in all likelihood would virtually write off a caravan, as too expensive to rectify. Dedicated products bring a degree of reassurance.
